Privacy Policy

Introduction

Kidlinka LLC respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how Kidlinka collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the Platform. By using the Platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

Kidlinka may collect information from parents, guardians, childcare providers, provider employees, and other users — including information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information received from third-party service providers.

Parent accounts: full name, email, phone number, password, account preferences, login activity, device information, and communication preferences.

Child information (provided by parents): child name and age, date of birth, allergy information, special accommodations, special needs, childcare preferences, emergency request information, and additional parent-submitted notes.

Provider accounts: provider name, owner name, email, phone, password, business name and address, hours, age groups served, open spots, pricing, tour booking information, availability settings, photos, social media information, and other profile details.

Verification Information

Providers may be required to submit verification documents. Kidlinka may collect childcare license information, government-issued identification, CPR and First Aid certifications, insurance documentation, and other eligibility materials. This information is used to review eligibility, issue verification status, prevent fraud, and support Platform safety.

Staff & Employee Information

Providers may use Kidlinka staff management tools. Kidlinka may collect staff names, job titles, work schedules, hours worked, qualifications, certifications, photos, languages spoken, and other workforce management information. This data is generally visible only to the provider and authorized users, unless the provider opts to display certain information publicly.

Emergency Childcare Information

When a parent submits an emergency childcare request, Kidlinka may collect parent name and contact information, parent location, child name and age, requested care hours and dates, allergy information, special accommodations, pickup and drop-off details, and other matching-related information. This may be shared with nearby eligible providers so they can decide whether to accept the request.

Location, Payment & Communications

Location information may be collected to match parents with nearby providers, send emergency requests, show local search results, and prevent fraud. Users may control location permissions through device or browser settings, though disabling access may affect functionality.

Payment and transaction data may include subscription payment records, emergency childcare payment records, booking payments, refund records, chargeback information, provider payout information, and billing details. Sensitive payment data may be processed by third-party processors; Kidlinka may not store full payment card numbers.

Kidlinka may collect and store Platform communications, including parent-provider messages, enrollment inquiries, tour requests, support messages, review disputes, and notifications. Communications may be reviewed when necessary to provide support, investigate disputes, prevent fraud, or comply with legal obligations.

Reviews, Photos & AI Tools

Parents may submit reviews and ratings. Kidlinka may collect, display, moderate, investigate, remove, or restrict reviews per Platform policies. Providers may upload photos, videos, logos, and other content, and are responsible for obtaining all required consents — including parental consent for photos containing children. Kidlinka may provide AI-assisted marketing tools, including flyer generation, landing pages, CRM tools, email automation, and social media scheduling. Provider-submitted information may be used to generate and customize marketing materials.

Kidlinka may use collected information to operate the Platform; create and manage accounts; connect parents and providers; process emergency childcare requests; verify provider documents; process payments and payouts; send notifications; provide customer support; improve services; prevent fraud and enforce policies; provide marketing tools; support staff management; analyze usage and performance; comply with legal obligations; and protect users, children, providers, parents, and the Platform.

Kidlinka may share information with childcare providers, parents and guardians, payment processors, cloud hosting providers, communication service providers, analytics and fraud prevention providers, customer support tools, legal and regulatory authorities, business partners necessary to operate services, and other parties with user consent or as required by law.

Kidlinka does not sell personal information, child information, provider information, employee information, or other personal data to third parties.

Children's Privacy

Kidlinka is intended for adults. Children are not permitted to create accounts. Kidlinka does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Child-related information is provided by parents, guardians, or providers for childcare-related purposes only.

Kidlinka retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, maintain financial records, and protect the Platform. When no longer needed, information may be deleted, anonymized, aggregated, or securely disposed of. Certain information may be retained after account deletion where required by law or legitimate business necessity.

Your Privacy Rights

Users may request to access, correct, delete, or export their personal information. Kidlinka may verify identity before fulfilling requests. Some requests may be limited where retention is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, payment, dispute resolution, or regulatory reasons.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Kidlinka may use cookies, analytics services, diagnostic tools, monitoring technologies, session management tools, and similar technologies to operate the Platform, improve functionality and user experience, detect fraud, maintain security, analyze usage patterns, and improve emergency childcare matching. Users may control cookies through browser settings, though this may affect Platform functionality.

Data Security

Kidlinka uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. However, no system is completely secure, and Kidlinka cannot guarantee that information will always remain safe from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.

Disclosures Required by Law & Business Transfers

Kidlinka may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law; respond to legal processes or governmental requests; cooperate with regulatory or licensing authorities; investigate fraud, abuse, or policy violations; or protect the rights, safety, or property of Kidlinka, users, or the public. Kidlinka may also transfer user information as part of a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or other business transaction.
